When installing pipelines, it is necessary to perform a lot of work-related to connecting, branching, or changing the direction of the pipeline route. All these works are carried out using special pipe fittings. Such accessories are called fittings. There are many Stainless Steel Flanges manufacturer present in the world.

The reliability of the operation of both individual sections and the entire pipeline as a whole depends on them.

Stainless Steel Threaded Fittings are classified by purpose and by the material from which they are made.

Division by appointment:

Fittings

 This type of fittings is designed to connect a metal pipe with a flexible outlet hose;

Stubs

They are used for hermetically clogging the endpoint of the pipeline;

Adapters

Such Carbon Steel Threaded Fittings connect pipes of various diameters. These include futors, nipples, drives;

Crosses

They are installed in the nodes of the pipeline, where the flow of liquid or gas is divided into several directions;

Collectors and tees

 They are installed in places of pipelines where a branch from the mainline is created;

Couplings

 The coupling is used to connect individual pipe sections in a straight line. With the help of Carbon Steel Socket Weld Fittings, pipe extension occurs. Such a compound is a collapsible form. This means that you can easily replace any part of the pipeline between two adjacent couplings. If it is necessary to replace a small section of the pipe, then it can be removed and replaced with a new one with the installation of two additional couplings;

Corners and bends

They are used in places where the direction of the pipeline route changes.

According to the material of manufacture, Stainless Steel Socket weld Fittings are also divided into several types, and products can be made not only of iron or cast iron but also of various alloys: bronze, copper, brass.

According to the type of installation, the design of fittings can be compressor, flange, threaded, welding, or crimp. When installing pipelines, the type of fitting is selected depending on the load in connecting units and on the diameter of the pipes.

The most sought after fitting models are:

Compressor

They are made by applying the pressing technology. Usually, they are used for the installation of external pipelines. They are clamped with two adjustable wrenches. For their fixation, a split ring is used, which, when tightened, tightens the union nut and thus creates a strong connection. Such a connection can withstand high pressures and vibrations;

Threaded

 They are used for mounting docking assemblies with high expected loads. Usually, they connect pipes made of quality steel. Such Carbon Steel Flanges are also made of high strength carbon.

The joints are sealed by winding flax fiber soaked in varnish or using a special sealant.

They are easy to disassemble and assemble again after replacing the damaged area. Usually, they are mounted in places where welding is not possible. They are widely used in the installation of pipelines in residential buildings, cottages or garden buildings;

Crimp

This model of fittings is much more reliable than others. They found applications not only in the installation of pipelines in domestic buildings but also in the installation of external communications.
