A group of talented young people in Myanmar starting-up Web and Mobile App called MyLann, Food and Restaurants Directory in Yangon and some of major city in Myanmar.

Now, they are focus on maximize only in Yangon. The company located in 50th Street, Pazun-Taung TownShip in Yangon. They are now over 1 year old company and created the very first Web based and Mobile based Search Engine for Food and Restaurants in Yangon, Myanmar.

MyLann’s Team said “we discovered that there aren’t still any Web and Mobile based food and restaurants directory in Yangon, so finding restaurants reviews, food guide, where to eat in Yangon and a new place to eat particularly for foreigners and tourists in Yangon is not easy”.

The directory uses a simple search bar to allow users to type in keywords such as “Chinese”, “Kyay Ohh”, “Breakfast” and a list of restaurants will quickly discover. Searches can be made in either English or Myanmar in MyLann.

All you have to do is type in a search word phrase and a list of restaurants and food will show up showing the name of the restaurant and also giving its telephone number and address.

The site also allows users to leave food reviews, restaurants review and comments or rate restaurants and sharable to social media like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. These functions will hopefully push restaurants to provide better service but we will monitor comments closely to stop people leaving obscene messages. They have been listed over 1000 restaurants so far on both Website App and Mobile App of MyLann, Food Reviews and Restaurants Directory in Yangon.

In a side street in Yangon from Bahan Township, Onyx, meat oriented restaurants in Yangon is one of the crazy meat favorite local and foreign alike. Opened nine years ago by Martin Shin, a native Korean, Onyx offers succulent steaks and a good selection of wines that are able to meet.

The Onyx restaurant is not very sophisticated, but people come here to eat and fill your stomach. It ‘makes them happy, and that makes me happy. With meat dishes that cost 6,000 MMK and a glass of house red wine for 3,000 MMK, a meal at Onyx is well within the reach of most travelers or the multitude of NGOs made up about half the sponsorship in recent years.

There is also a long list of vegetarian dishes and seafood that can be read for a while ’, but the focus is definitely the meat Onyx. If you can not find something you like, Mr. Shin is willing to make some suggestions from the menu, including steak topped with blue cheese or a fullback big enough to feed three or four people for only 15,000 MMK.
