With help from a local fabrication company, 20 gauge stainless steel
plates of the following dimensions are made ready with holes at the bottom and top: 3”X 6”—12Nos; 1 ½”X6”—4 Nos; and 1” connector bands-3 Nos. that were 6”, 4 1/2” and 3 ¼”. The rough edges around the holes are ground smooth with a belt sander. This assembly with positive and negative points is immersed in acidic water (for conductivity) and connected to the engine along with hydrogen pipe for working as hydrogen generator.

Each plate is further sanded with 100 point sandpaper in the two diagonal directions (similar to X) to have sizeable increase in surface area of the plates for higher gas production.
