Putting more and more effort can help you to get properly developed and proportionate back. There are certain back exercises that you do not require even dumbbells or any kind of heavyweight lifts.

Types Of Back Workouts

You can follow the following back exercises for a V-shaped back:

  • Deadlifts: For doing deadlifts, you need to stand with your feet and hip-width apart and then bend the hips backward. Your grips need to be outside the knees. While keeping the back flat, you need to extend the hips for standing up and pulling the bar along the body, while your hips move through and your shoulders move back. Keep your eyes on the ground, a few feet in the front and carefully bring them back to the starting posture.

  • Weighted Pullup: You can hold a dumbbell between the feet while attaching a belt to the waist. Then hang from a pullup bar while your hands lie just outside the shoulder width. Then pull yourself up until your chin reaches over the rod or bar.

  • Incline Dumbbell Row: You can set a bench to a 30 to 45-degree inclined angle and lie on it with your chest down. Then grab a dumbbell in each hand and draw them as if your shoulders are moving towards the back.

For getting a v-shaped back you need to focus on your lats, obliques, and deltoids mainly. However, do not use over-weights for back exercises.
